7 Months!

How can my baby be SEVEN months old?! It seems like all of the sudden she has SO much personality and is simply the sweetest baby we can imagine. We adore her.

Facts about Abigail this month:

1. Weight: at 6 months she weighed 15 lb 9 ounces, which showed me it looks like she's gaining roughly 1 pound per month, so my best guess for this month is somewhere around 16 1/2 pounds.

2. Height: I have no idea

3. Diapers: size 2

4. Clothing: She is mostly in between sizes right now. She can still wear lots of 6 month stuff, 6-9 month stuff fits great, and she's also pretty much wearing all the 9 month clothing that we have. It's nice because I have a lot of options for her, but I never really know quite what size to buy. I'm typically buying 9 month stuff and she can usually wear it.

5. Eating: Abigail nurses 5 times a day (roughly around 7:00, 10:00, 1:00, 4:00, and 7:00). She also eats baby food 3 times a day (roughly around 7:45, 11:30, and 5:45). She eats fruits in the morning, fruits and some sort of veggie at lunch, and then veggies and the "meats" at dinner. We just started the little meat baby foods. I haven't made any more of her food since the first time I did, although we still have plenty of it and she eats it. With how much we're traveling I usually just end up giving her purchased food. I could say that I don't have time to make it, but I could find time. The truth is, I'm just not super into it. Maybe I will get back into it later on. Who knows. :)

6. Abigail has become a great sitter! She can sit totally by herself and it's so nice to be able to sit her down on her quilt with some toys and walk away for a minute or two.

7. No teeth yet but I feel like we'll see one any day. She will chew on ANYTHING.

8. This is a weird fact, but her hair has grown so much in the past month and I love it. It looks like we might have a little blondy on our hands.

9. No crawling, but I'm starting to see some signs of a desire to move around. She is a lot better about tummy time now, reaches for things and tries to scoot, without much luck.

10. She hands out open mouth kisses all the time and I love it so much I can hardly stand it.

11. Whenever David comes home from work she lights up. She'll smile, starting gasping and kicking her legs and making noises until he comes over to her. It's the sweetest thing in the world. David gets a sweet homecoming every day.

12. She loves for me to read books to her and typically wants to eat the book. This teacher Momma will take any reading time she can get.

Time with Abigail gets sweeter by the day and I love every minute with her. Happy 7 months little girl!
