Finals Approaching

This week is a week of studying for David. His finals begin on Monday, so he is working really hard to get ready. As most of you already know...I was offered a job at Westminster Christian Academy! I accepted immediately and I will begin teaching second grade in the fall. I'm also going to be able to help out with cheerleading. David and I are thrilled and feel like the Lord has truly provided for our every need. This Friday after work I am heading to Branson, MO to hang out with Lauren Davis for one night. We haven't gotten to see each other since Christmas, so we've both been anticipating this weekend. I don't know what all we'll do...probably go to a movie and do a little outlet shopping. I'll be back on Saturday and hopefully I'll find David alive and not asleep on his books.

We took a field trip to the farm where our baby chicks came from to return them. We got to go into the chicken house and I found this poor dead chicken on the ground. Disgusting.

Mrs. Pat bought a duck to keep out at her house. He is obviously not too excited about me holding him. Sidenote: My clothes don't match because it was "mixed up day" at school.

Sooie, doing her best to wake David up.

Baby Chicks and Lots of Pictures!

We haven't blogged in a while...so sorry! Mom and Dad came to town the weekend before Easter and it was wonderful. We went out to eat down town on Friday night and to Arthur Bryant's on Saturday. They also got to go down to the dental school and out to my school! Mom brought me new decorations for my room too. Easter weekend was fun and David and I greeted for all three services. Afterward we went out to eat at Pei Wei. This week, the eggs that we have had in the incubators at school began to hatch. They're really cute and a little bit gross at the same time. I think you'll enjoy the pictures. The kids at school are practicing some new songs for our Spring program and they're so cute! Hopefully the video can be uploaded. This weekend we are going out to dinner for David's birthday on Friday night. On Saturday night we are having some people from Sunday school in our "dinners for eight" group over for dinner. Busy week and weekend! Easter picture by our beautiful tree. The chicks! It's pretty fun to hold them. I look crazy right here but everyone thought it was funny! They don't look real in my hands but they are!
