This has been an extremely "normal" week for us. It's been really nice to simple do our regular stuff and feel like we're in a routine. I forgot to put an update about Abigail's eating and sleeping in my last post, so I wanted to include it here. She nurses 6-7 times a day and has become extremely efficient. She's usually totally done within 20 minutes. Typically less. It's quite a treat for Mommy. :) I was nervous about how fast she was going until I talked to the doctor, who said it is totally normal for her to get faster and to "not worry about about. Look at her, she is developing great!" So, I'm just enjoying it at this point. She is a great sleeper for us at night too. We can usually get her down by 11:00 and she'll sleep until 7:00 a.m. She's even slept until 7:30 a couple times, but then I have gotten her up...nursing Mom's I'm sure you understand. David gives the last feeding of the night while I pump the next night's late feeding. It's a nice break for me and special time for David.
Ok, update over. This week I was home all week during the day and hung out with our girl. David went to work as usual and it really was a nice week of routine stuff. I have been walking indoors on Wednesdays with my friend Katherine and it's such a nice break in the week. This weekend we worked around the house and started thinking about the things we need to get done before putting the house on the market. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures on our good camera this week or weekend, but I've got a couple iPhone pictures I can post.
In our eggplant hat given to us by Aunt Kara and Uncle Tripp!
Sometimes Sooie likes to "guard" Abigail's door while she's sleeping. Not really much of a guard cat.
Happy girl!
She really is a smiley baby. We adore her more and more every day. Sweet little thing. :)
