The Spring Program

Tonight was the Spring Program at WCA. The teachers are required to come and help out, which seemed like a not fun thing to do on my Thursday night, but it turned out ok. It was fun to see my kids perform for their parents. What was NOT fun was trying to control 25 eight-year olds while they were sitting in the bleachers for an HOUR after they performed. I felt like I had worked another entire day. Here is some of my group waiting for the rest of the kids to be done singing..."Mrs. Rainwater, how long until it's over?" :)

Tomorrow I am heading to Fayetteville for Ashley Kella's wedding and Brooke Palmer's Bachelorette Party! I'm leaving right after work tomorrow and I'm staying with Lauren and Justin. Justin won't be there tomorrow night, so Lauren and I are going to get some quality girl time in. I'm also going to be able to spend some time with Tripp and he is my date to the wedding on Saturday night, which is also the night of the bachelorette party. It should be a fun weekend. The only thing that would make it better is if David was able to go to Fayetteville too. The much anticipated 2 weeks of finals have arrived. They start on Monday, although he took two this week. The next two weeks will be hard for David...pray that he will have the strength and will power to keep studying when he's exhausted and that he will be able to recall all of the information that he will be tested over. I'm sure I'll have some pictures to post from the upcoming weekend on Sunday, but here is a short clip from the Spring Program tonight!
