I am not a good blogger these days. I think I've mentioned it before, but I am keeping a Shutterfly book of our year now and I find that it takes up a lot of my time. Please forgive. A lot has gone on since Emma was 6 months old, and I will summarize it here.
We took Abigail to a Little Rock Razorback football game and almost made it to half time. She had a blast, and Emma stayed home with Mike and Kathy.
One of the biggest things that went on was my trip to Charlotte to see Granny and Grandad. I flew with both girls (and Mom) on September 14 and we spent three days with them. The girls did great, but of course I was a pretty tired Momma. The flight there went perfectly. The flight home on the other hand...whoa. Never flying by myself with two babies. EVER. Thank goodness Mom was there.
Also this month, we dedicated Emma at church. She wore a dress that Mom began for me as a baby, but never finished. She finished it for Emma and that is what she wore. It was beautiful and very special.
On Wednesday, October 1, we left to go to the beach with the Rainwater family. We drove to Clinton, MS and and stayed the night in a hotel, which went surprisingly well. The trip was wonderful and we had a great time. The only downside was that BOTH of the girls got croup. Yuck. As I type this Emma is actually still getting over it. Not fun at all. Emma spent her 7 month "birthday" on the road and fairly sick...poor girl.
This weekend the weather is completely wonderful. We hope to go to go to the state fair this evening!
