Emma Grace girl...
1. Weight: 17 lb 11 oz
2. Diapers: size 3
3. Clothing: 6-9 months, 9 months, 12 months
4. Eating: Emma nurses 5 times a day, but I am literally days from dropping her to four nursing times and adding in baby food over the lunch hour. She is a great eater and is very interested in finger foods. She nurses so quickly I sometimes wonder how in the world she could be getting enough, but I think her rolls tell the true story. Her desire for milk is decreasing as her interest in food increases, and my body is having a little bit of trouble adjusting, but I'm hoping my supply will equalize here fairly soon.
5. Daily Schedule:
7:00 Up and nurse
8:00 Baby food or rice cereal mixed with breastmilk
8:30-10:00 Nap
10:30 Nurse (this is the nursing time I am about to bump back to 11:00)
1:00 Nurse
1:30-3:00 Nap
4:45 Nurse
5:30-6:00 Catnap (sometimes)
6:00 Baby food
7:15 Bedtime bottle and down for the night
6. Emma is a great sitter and has gotten really stable. She rarely falls, unless her sister is "loving" her.
7. Abigail and Emma love to squeal at each other. Emma will star and then Abigail will join in and then fairly soon my eardrums will be almost bursting. :) But it is so fun to see them begin to interact.
7. Emma's hair has really grown this month and it is sticking up a little bit on top. Again, it looks like we will have another little blonde girl in the family!
8. While Emma is very laid back, she does have the ability to assert her will. She'll pretty much go with the flow most of the time, but when she gets mad it's usually about a couple of things...too tired, annoyed with Abigail, wants food, or wants to be held by me. :)
9. Everywhere we go people comment on her legs, which I love. She's got some rolls people.
10. Emma likes all baby food thus far, minus peaches and bananas.
This little girl is spectacular. We adore her and cannot wait to see how her personality continues to develop. She wants to crawl so badly, and I don't think it will be long. No teeth yet (of course). We love you Emma Grace Rainwater!
