We have had a GREAT weekend. Before I tell all about the weekend, I'd like to mention that Deuce got terribly sick this week and also killed a chipmunk (maybe the two are related?). Not to worry, he's on plenty of medicine and feeling much better. Apparently our dog has some serious allergies.
Now, on to the weekend. We left on Friday afternoon for Fayetteville to meet my family for the game. We hung around on Saturday and ate breakfast at ihop before tailgating. We tailgated for about 3 and half hours and got to see so many great friends! At the beginning of the tailgate a photographer from the Arkansas Democrat Gazette showed up and took our picture! Maybe we'll be in the paper! :) Here's the link to the picture...I don't know if it'll work or not.

We ate Chick-fil-A and lots of other great food all day. Here are some pictures from the tailgate and game.
Tripp and I
My best friend Lauren, and her son Parker came to hang out too. I couldn't have been more excited.
Some of the other girls that came by who happen to be my sorority sisters as well.
David and Parker had tons of fun. He also loved my Dad, like all kids seem to do.
Some of the old roommates united again! We love getting to see these great couple friends.
At the game. GO HOGS!
The Razorbacks beat Missouri State 51 to 7. We left at halftime to drive down to the lake. Every Labor Day my Dad's side of the family has a reunion. This time we were only missing three cousins! On Sunday we headed out onto the lake to hang out all day. It was overcast part of the day and then it got sunny. We just had a great time swimming, eating, laughing, and catching up on everything that has been going on. Here are all the grandkids (my Dad's oldest's brother's grandkids). So these are my cousins' kids. Adorable.
Emily (4) took a liking to David.
William (2 1/2) got some major quality time in.
Swimming...
After the day on the lake we had a big family dinner at the trailor. We grilled steaks, ate fruit salad, mashed potatoes, salad and had "The Recipe" and a delicious cake that Mom made. This morning we all ate breakfast together at the Lodge. Uncle Ted is holding his phone up in this picture because my cousin Will was on the phone. :)
Trotter, Jennifer, Clancy, Ben, Louise and Beck...you were greatly missed!
Weekends like this are so much fun. The Fall brings football and seeing more of family. We're sad to see the lake go until next summer, but this was a great way to head into Fall.
