Parker parkin' in Kansas City

This weekend some great friends came into town to hang out. Lauren and Justin Davis and their 13 month old son Parker came and stayed with us from Friday to Sunday afternoon. David and I couldn't wait for them to get here. We ate dinner Friday night at Blue Moose with Jay and Katherine, and Parker looked like a million bucks!

Saturday was a really relaxing day and we all spent time gearing up for the Razorback game. After Parker took his morning nap we went to Jay and Katherine's and then out to eat at Spin. The weather was unbelievable so we walked around the Plaza for a little while. For dinner I made some home-made lasagna and Katherine brought dessert. Parker wore his jersey to guarantee a Razorback win against Mississippi State. He was slightly tired after waking up from his nap and needed some love from his Mom.

Ryan Mallett ya'll!

Spending time with these girls felt like we were back in college being goofy again. Pi Phi till I die girls...bury us in our letter shirts. :)

It was SO much fun having Lauren and Justin here. We know it must be really hard to travel with a little one and it means so much to us that they came. Spending time with my best friend made for a pretty much perfect weekend. Parker loved spending time with David! He kept coming over for hugs and David could really make him laugh (I was slightly jealous)!

Lauren and Justin are just doing a fantastic job with Parker and we are glad to have friends setting such a good example. Thank you so much for coming! We can't wait for Thanksgiving!

David is off this whole week and I work Monday and Tuesday. We'll pack ourselves up (including Deuce Dog) and head to LR Wednesday morning. Pictures to come! Happy Thanksgiving and Happy Fall!

In Arkansas, we train em' up early knowing how to do the Hog Call...
