Date Weekend

Last week ended well and we got to spend so much time together this weekend! Friday night we cooked, stayed in, and went to bed EARLY. Saturday was great. We started off by going to our friends, Todd and Alicia's adoption garage sale. They are our second set of friends from Sunday school that are adopting. Adam and Becca are adopting from Korea and Todd and Alicia are adopting from the Ukraine. Adoption is expensive, so we stopped by the sale to contribute a little bit. David was also able to help them haul some stuff earlier in the week.

After the garage sale we took a nice long walk with Deuce on the Mill Creek Trail.

Deuce had a great time. It was a pretty cool morning and he had tons of energy. He would run off the trail and into the woods at like a hundred miles an hour and then run back to us like his life depended on it. He also made a mad dash after a deer that we came upon on the trail. He was gone for like five minutes, so we were VERY thankful when he came back. :)

During the afternoon we went up to the dental school for David to do some work on a crown. It was fun to see him in action in the lab.

Saturday night was date night and we enjoyed a completely free night out thanks to the kids in my class (birthday gift cards). We went and ate a delicious meal at Bravo and then saw "Unstoppable." After church today we had a great lunch with a bunch of people from Sunday school at Zarda BBQ, and then spent the afternoon hanging out with Matt and Dianna. Thanks for coming over and surprising us guys! Matt, thanks for helping David with the shower...it's working so much better now. :)

This week isn't going to be too busy. David doesn't have any tests until finals and I don't have anything due for class this Tuesday. Fall is definitely here and we can't believe it's our third fall here in Kansas City.
