Hello Rainwaters and Goodbye Red Racer!

It has certainly been a busy 24 hours in the Rainwater house! Yesterday afternoon Mike and Kathy and Ben came into town to hang out for just a little bit. David and everyone hung out in the afternoon and I joined them when I got off work. Then we all went up to the Westminster basketball game to see my girls cheer. The girls looked great and Mike and Kathy seemed to love seeing them. Afterward we went out to eat at a place called "Ingredient." It's kind-of a make-your-own salad place. It was pretty good, but we like "The Mix" in Brookside a little better we think. Nevertheless, it was a wonderful time. Then we came back to the house for some mixed berry cobbler that I made. This morning we got up and went to breakfast at "The Classic Cup" down the road at the Plaza and it was delicious. The Rainwaters headed out right around lunch time and we headed to the airport to pick up a man named Mark Clark...the man who finally purchased our car! Woohoo! He was SO nice, which made me happy since I tend to get emotionally attached to vehicles. He was pumped and thought it looked great. He's from Dallas and flew up here to pick it up and drive it back to his home. I was sure to snap a few pictures of David making the deal...don't know if that's so typical, but I wanted some documentation!

David, showing Mark all the items to sign.

Deal made! Mark was a good sport about the picture.

Excited.

I found this corner cabinet on craig's list for cheap, so we snatched it up to be able to display a little bit of china and crystal.

Kathy took some great pictures of last night and this morning and she's going to email them to me. As soon as I get them, I'll post!

The spring blog looks wonderful and so does the corner cabinet! Goodbye to red racer. :( What a wonderful car she has been to you. The Cashions always get emotionally tied to our cars. :( Sooooo, what are you going to name this one? We are looking so forward to seeing you in just a few days. Love you!
