Eureka Springs Weekend

This last weekend we were able to meet some dear dental school friends at a cabin right outside of Eureka Springs, AR. The cabin was perfect and had an unbelievable view from the back porch.

We actually had the longest drive, so the Endicotts and Matthews got there before us. Jake, the Endicott's 8 month old son was already asleep when we got there, and thankfully Abigail slept in the car and then went on to sleep when we made the transfer. We just sat around and enjoyed talking with each other.

We had planned on cooking most of our meals at the cabin, and since it rained on Saturday, it worked out perfectly. Abigail was a doll and she LOVED Jake. In fact, she leaned in and gave him multiple kisses, surprising everyone.

Saturday night we went into Eureka Springs for a less than good dinner at the Crescent Hotel (such a let-down), but we made the best of it. Sunday was gorgeous and we explored downtown Eureka on Sunday and ate lunch together before we all headed home.

It was such a nice weekend to just relax and be together. It also seemed good for the boys to compare notes about dentistry. We hope to make it a yearly tradition. Thanks for such a great weekend guys!
