1st Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

Since my last post we have been really really busy. I'm not going to post pictures of everything that has gone on, but I will post some (and by some I mean a ton) pictures from our trip to the pumpkin patch today.

Last week flew by. It was my birthday week, and on Monday night Mom and Dad had us over to celebrate. I picked out some new pots and pans and they got them for me...I'm LOVING them. David and I were both fighting colds, but it really was a great week. Mom and Dad came over and watched Abigail on my birthday night and David and I were able to go and enjoy a nice out to eat at Vesuvio. My parents also gave me some shopping money and watched Abigail for me while I ventured out to the stores alone!

Friday and Saturday night we spent time at David's 10 year high school reunion. On Friday night we headed to the Little Rock Christian homecoming game and got a tour of the school. It was really fun for me to meet the people that David graduated with. I was so proud to be on his arm. I was also proud of our little peanut.

In addition to the 10 year reunion, we were in charge of the St. Charles (our neighborhood) hayride on Sunday, so Saturday dad dropped his trailer off and we drove to Benton to buy some hay! That night we went to eat at Cajun's Warf with David's class. I had a great time and I loved seeing David with his high school buddies.

On Sunday we led the hayride which was a blast. David drove around and around and around. We also handed out some goodie bags with a dental coupon in it. :) Abigail loved riding around and it was great to meet neighbors. There are just so many kids in this neighborhood! It's going to be fun for Abigail growing up.

Ok, now for today. David doesn't work on Tuesday afternoons (not because he wants a day off...it has to do with work space for three dentists) so we had planned to get to the pumpkin patch! It seems like they all close on Halloween, so this was our last shot! We couldn't wait. There were animals, a huge patch, a hay maze, a sunflower maze (which was over), a huge corn play area, and a hay ride! We picked out one huge pumpkin and Abigail got a small one. :)

It was a delightful family day! First trip to the pumpkin patch in the books!...many more to come!

P.S. Abigail is beginning to stand on her own for short periods of time!
