You may notice that someone has gotten very good at sitting up! Proud Momma.
We got a couple other good shots too.
On Saturday David had another interview to conduct and we ate lunch at the club with everyone after he was done. I sat by the pool while Abigail slept and David and his brothers played 9 holes. Afterward we headed to the lake!
The lake was pretty special this year. Abigail is the fourth generation in our family to spend time at Mountain Harbor. I loved having her there. We had decided that the Pack n' Play would be in a super large closet connected to our bedroom, and when we got there Mom had turned it into a little miniature nursery! She had a rug, two pictures on the wall, and a table with a lamp on it. She had turned a closet into an adorable baby room. Love her.
We spent Saturday night sitting on the porch playing games and talking after Abigail went to sleep. Sweet girl slept perfectly all weekend. On Sunday we went out on the water for a little bit and had a great time. Doing the lake with a baby is definitely different than anything I've ever experienced, but I think we're going to adjust pretty quick to our new normal. I was obsessed with Abigail's swimsuit and hat...she was a little doll baby and didn't mind running around on the lake at all! The party barge was ideal. Here are some pictures of the lake part of the weekend.
On Monday we drove back to KC and were able to be back in time to unpack and get ourselves together for the week etc. This Sunday is our second to last Sunday at LBC. :( Although we're not moving until June 29, with all of our travel in between then and now we have this Sunday left and one more. We really can't believe it.
Abigail has her sixth month appointment today, although she's about 6 1/2 months now and David is hard at work trying to wrap up his cases before the residency ends. We've packed a lot of things up in the basement and will take them to LR next weekend when we close on our house. I look forward to blogging about our new home after that.
We have had lots of nibbles and tons of showings on our house now, but it's still on the market!
