This month...
1. We've tried lots of food! So far she likes peas, green beans, carrots, squash, and sweet potatoes. We just recently tried bananas and pears and of course they were a hit.
2. Sitting-she wants so badly to sit up all the time, and to her credit she's gotten really good at it, but she's still inconsistent and will fall if she drifts too far to one side or to the back.
3. Schedule: She nurses 5 times a day--morning, mid-morning, early afternoon, late afternoon, bedtime. She takes a couple ounces of solid food in the day...once around 11:30 and again around 5:30.
4. Napping: she still takes a nice long morning and afternoon nap, about 45-hour catnap over lunch, and SOMETIMES a catnap from about 5:30-6:00.
5. Sleeping: she sleeps from around 7:30-8:00 p.m. all the way to 6:30-7:00 a.m.
6. Right now she's obsessed with blowing bubbles with her tongue and lips. It's adorable, and quite messy. :)
7. Clothing: she is wearing essentially all 6 month, 6-9 month, and even some plain 9 month clothes. It really just depends on the brand.
8. I don't know her weight and height, but we go to the doctor next Tuesday. She weighed 13 lb 8 oz at 4 months, so I'm guessing she'll weigh somewhere close to 16 lb. It seems like she's gained a lot of weight over the last two months, but we'll see! I love kissing all over her chubby arms and legs though.
9. Her favorite toys are Sophie, this stuffed cat that we have, her own feet, and Sooie.
10. We've been dragging her back and forth from KC to LR a lot and she really is such an easy going baby. Not to mention we literally have 1-2 showings a day for our house that I've got to get her and I out for.
11. We officially ride in the grocery store in the cart and sit in high chairs at restaurants! I love it and she has a blast.
12. She loves to grab our faces and basically get us soaking wet "kissing" us. I wouldn't trade it for anything.
13. She seems to recognize her name and turns to look at us when we say it.
14. Diapers: size 2 fits perfectly
15. She's still sleeping on her back and hasn't rolled from back to tummy to my knowledge, but she does sleep with both arms up still and has been known to turn 180 degrees in her crib by morning. :)
We adore her more and more each day. She is so fun right now and we love seeing her personality emerge. She is beginning to show her desires, likes and dislikes, which is fun as well. I'm so thankful for 6 wonderful months with this precious girl. Here are some other pictures from her 6 month...
Memorial day is bringing another trip to Little Rock as well as Abigail's first trip to the lake!
