Wedding Weekend

A long time friend of mine from elementary and high school got married this past weekend so we traveled back down to Little Rock. The wedding was great and we were happy to get to see some people that we haven't seen in a while. Abigail has now officially attended two weddings in her short life! David got his girl a dress for her first Valentine's day, and that's what she was wearing to the wedding. She looked adorable.

Abigail has done some new things this week that I wanted to share. It's like all of the sudden she gets that she has control over her hands and arms. She can't necessarily control them, but she seems to have truly realized they're hers. She is trying and successfully grabbing lots of things now, including my necklaces, hair, face and arm when I change her diaper. That's the sweetest thing to me. When I'm changing her she holds on to my forearm. Love.

Since her first belly laugh we've had two more. So much fun. She watches everything I do as I carry her around and is becoming so observant. She is also liking to stand up now. She'll lock her chubby little legs and smile as we hold her up. Her feeding seems to be increasing as well. Not the amount of times she's feeding a day, but the amount she's taking. At night now I pump a 5 1/2 ounce bottle and she has no trouble drinking it.

I'm ready for all this snow to melt so we can start spending some more time outside!
