A baby shower and night at the dog park

Today was a really nice Saturday. This morning I went Faith DeWerff's baby shower. She is the daughter of some friends from church who was born 8 weeks early and just got to come home! The baby shower seemed like a celebration of her growth and getting to some home. Sorry girls, the picture came out blurry somehow.



Tonight David came up with the idea of going to Shawnee Mission Park and taking Deuce to the off-leash dog park. We were hoping it would be a good way to socialize Deuce with other dogs and Deuce did great! He was running around and sniffing other dogs AND letting them sniff him (which is big). He came when we called and was in general a good dog. He still wasn't too keen on getting in the water though. He did watch some of the other dogs jumping in, so we're hoping that the more we go, the more he might be willing to hop on in. We were proud parents tonight. :)
