I wish I wasn't a whole week late on this post, but Emma was sick with an ear infection on her 8 month "birthday," so the photo session got put off until today. She still has a runny nose (as you can see in the pictures), but is generally feeling much better. Also, her sticker is different than all of her stickers thus far because somehow I couldn't find the 8 month sticker. I don't know if it was not included in the pack or if I accidentally misplaced it, but it's not here! Luckily, I had another set that I could use.
Emma Grace...
1. Diapers: size 4
2. Clothing: 9 months, 12 months
3. Weight: around 18 pounds (I know this because we were actually at the doctor getting antibiotics when she turned 8 months).
4. Teeth: 1 tooth has come through on the bottom!
5. Daily Schedule:
7:00 Up and 5 oz bottle
8:00 Breakfast--fruits and small finger foods
8:30-10:00 Nap
11:00 Bottle (5 oz)
12:00 Baby food lunch plus finger foods
1:00-3:00 Nap (depending on how much milk she had at 11:00, I sometime offer her an ounce or two before going down for nap)
3:30 Bottle (3 oz or so)
5:30 Baby food dinner plus finger foods
7:30 Bedtime bottle and bed!
6. Emma is SO close to crawling. She will get up on all fours and wants to move so badly, but just can't quite get it! My prediction is that it will be soon!
7. Sounds: She has gotten so much batter at making sounds just recently! She will say "dada dada," (not linked to Daddy) "rararara," and "bababa." It's so fun hearing her voice.
8. This child is the happiest little laugher ever. She giggles and loves to grab your face and cover you in big slobbery kisses. It is so great.
9. When Emma sees me or David after being in the nursery, or when we have been away, she kicks her legs and grabs her hands and gets the biggest grin on her face. It's precious and sweet and adorable.
10. Emma and Abigail are just beginning to start to be able to play together. Emma can kind of hold her own and shows her displeasure when her sister does something that she doesn't like.
