15 Months

Abigail was 15 months old yesterday! Unfortunately she had a fever and still has one today...along with a pretty intense cough. I feel terrible for her, although she is still the sweetest little sicky. I didn't take any pictures of her yesterday because she felt so bad, but here are some from this month.

Abigail:

1. Height and weight: I don't know, but we go to the doctor on Monday.

2. Clothing: 12-18 months and 18 months

3. Diapers: size 4

4. Daily Schedule:
7:00 Wake up
7:30 Breakfast
9:30 Nap
10:30 Wake up
11:30 Lunch
2:00 Nap
3:30-4:00 Wake up and have a snack
6:00 Dinner
7:30-8:00 Bed

5. Abigail's morning nap is getting shorter and shorter. She usually sleeps for about an hour each morning and then an hour and a half to two hours in the afternoon. We are right on the edge of dropping the morning nap. I'm not sure when I'll pull the trigger, but I'm thinking it won't be too much longer. Maybe another month?

6. Abigail walks everywhere of course but is also seemingly trying to start "running." She tries to go faster than she's able and usually trips herself up somehow.

7. Talking: This has picked up quite a bit in the last month. In addition to "Mama, Dada" and "well," she is also saying "no." Yep, NO. She's mimicking lots of things we say and we can tell she is trying to say the words, even though they're not coming out right. She said "dog" about a week ago and now it sounds something like "doe." We'll take it. When I ask her to say "please," she'll try her best but usually just says, "ease." She has said "bye" once or twice but it's inconsistent, and "cat" only once. She also tries to say "all done!" and "ma" for milk or more.

8. Teeth: 2...just two. So we continue to wait. :)

9. Every night David reads her "Goodnight Moon" and she will get it off the shelf and take it over to him.

10. She will lift up her shirt and show you her belly button on command if you say, "Abigail, where is your belly button?" She'll also find yours if you're not careful. She'll also stick out her tongue if you say, "Show me your tongue!"

11. She has mastered blowing people kisses and makes quite a yelling sound when she does it.

12. When walking around new or strange places she prefers to hold our hand and will reach of up for it. If she's comfortable somewhere, she will literally push your hand off her own so she can get moving.

13. The other day I asked her to go get her shoes and bring them to me so that we could go for a walk and she did it! Who knew?!

14. When she reads books by herself she turns the pages really fast and "reads" out loud. She makes the cutest sounds.

15. If we play music she'll bob up and down and dance.

16. In the mornings we love to watch "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" together and "Jake and the Neverland Pirates."

17. Now that Abigail is able to walk around in the yard, Deuce loves to have her back there. He'll run up really fast and then slow down as soon as he gets to her and lick her face. I was slightly disgusted by this at first, but Abigail thinks it's hilarious so we're going with it.

18. Discipline: Mommy and Daddy are slowly getting the hang of it. She absolutely knows what "no" means, and most of the time will obey if we say it stern enough. But every now and then she'll hear us say "no no" and then smile and go ahead and do whatever it is that she had planned on doing.

19. She can identify someone else's nose, mouth, eyes, and ears...although not on herself? Don't get it.

20. I got a dyson for Christmas and Abigail LOVES it. She would prefer me to hold her while I vacuum, but she also loves just to watch me do it and follow me around.

Lots of facts this month! We love our growing/changing girl.
