Cashion Family Reunion

This past weekend we had the annual Labor Day Cashion Family Reunion. David and I drove straight from Kansas City to the lake on Friday night and made it to the lake right around midnight. We made the hard decision this year to skip the football game (I know, nuts), and just do the whole weekend at the lake. We decided it for a couple of reasons, but the main one was that we are always exhausted by doing the game AND the family reunion. With my growing belly and shrinking energy level, we were trying to simplify our life...and it worked! The whole weekend was extremely relaxing. We spent all day Saturday and Sunday out on the lake and enjoyed the usual family dinner on Sunday night at the trailor. Here are some pictures from hanging out on the lake...

Lunch on the water.

David checking out the grill.

Water time!

My cousin Louise with her adorable baby Beck, along with my other cousin Ellen.

William was like a fish and unbelievably cute. He never stopped jumping off the back of the boats.

Hello belly! That's uncle Benson's house boat in the background there.

The captain!

Group shot! Yes, those are matching T-shirts. They said, "44 Years, 4 Generations and Counting, A Cashion Family Tradition." Bill Barnes, the owner of Mountain Harbor was nice enough to let us use the Mountain Harbor Logo on our shirts as well. They're really nice and I love mine. For now, I'll have to wait awhile until I wear it again. Right now it's basically a belly shirt instead of a T-shirt.

Girls...next year there will be one more girl to include!

Boys...

Let's count this as my 29th week picture. This past Tuesday we were 29 weeks!

The love-birds! The wedding will be here before we know it!

This week has been really busy. Short weeks always are. I worked in the office this week as well as did some subbing. I'm off today though thankfully. We haven't had much evening time together just due to how much we have going on. Thankfully I got the reunion blogged before this weekend, because our family is coming into town again for another shower! This shower is thrown by a couple mothers from school and their daughters and is for all the girls that I have had in class the past 3 years. I'm really excited about it and think it will be so much fun.
